Today’s Verse: Psalm 107:27 They reeled and staggered like a drunken man, and were at their wits end. NASB
Hmm, this sounds like me after my doctor visit Monday. Many of you know we are fighting Stage IV Colon cancer. Fortunately, the main tumors are gone, but unfortunately new rather aggressive ones have popped up to threaten again. After spending time in prayer and a box of Kleenex later with my wife, we  discussed what we thought about starting a whole new chemo regimin next week. Our decision this time just like the first is, in Debby’s words, “Not to let this rob us of our joy.” We are in complete agreement. Because we can trust God to care for us through this time, we are free to live lives joyously in Him and in His service. Because we have such joy in our lives, we are not at our wits end, but rather at the beginning of God’s wisdom. We are safe and comforted there. If you are finding yourself near your wits end, do not despair. Let go and let God. What blessed relief.
May God bless your heart as you seek His.
You and Debby are such an inspiration. You have set the bar really high and I hope the rest of us can follow your example when our testing comes, and it will. Love you and appreciate you both so very much.
