Today’s Verse: 2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! NASB
My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who is living with us right now has been going around lately wishing everyone a Happy Birthday. She did take a couple of days off last weekend and converted to wishing a Happy Easter, but she was back to Happy Birthday again this week. We keep telling her it is not our birthday and have been trying to figure out what the deal is or where she’s picked this up. It finally dawned on me today that it is linked directly to her insatiable love for cake! This morning she hit me up for some cake for breakfast. I offered some sausage biscuits as an alternative to sugar and she reluctantly agreed. Then it hit me that she wanted it to be some-body’s, any-body’s birthday so she can have some cake. Smart kid. She is convinced right now that chocolate cake is indeed the most wonderful thing in the world. Many of you may well agree. Paul said that it is the surpassing grace of God in us that is the indescribable gift for which we should all be thankful. I agree. May we all be so filled past the point of overflowing that we might share from our plenty with all those we come into contact with every day. Evan Hailey is willing to share her cake…as long as she gets some! So, whether it is Happy Birthday, Happy Easter or just Happy Friday, I pray that we get the opportunity to share God’s bountiful gift with others.
May God bless your heart as you seek His.
that’s basically our goal. to share everything we have to others to bring glory to our god almighty!
by the way, i also like cake. LOL!

And speaking of cake… Thanks for sharing the distilled nuggets of sweetness from the Bible as you have so faithfully done over a long period of time on this blog. Your cluster map partially depicts the number of people you have delivered cake to. I hope that God shares his very best chocolate cake with you as you rely on him for sustenance and dessert.
